Pretty in Pink

Each girl took a turn sharing a talent. Madalyn sang, "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". Though I wasn't there, Randy recorded it and many people caught me later in the week and told me how cute and confident she was. I already knew that, but third party verification is always an added bonus. Way to go Madalyn.

Nic and Mom saw this cute little outfit for Makenzy. Nothing says little girl like this. I need to get her to look up at the camera and smile but she liked playing with her new "baby".

Life in Arizona

The Koester Family (Conner 3 months)

I'm a Child of God. "What a little stud!!!"

"Tummy Time" It won't be long before I'm able to crawl.
Max better watch out. I might think he's one of my toys.

Never Trust a Shark

We are so glad to have Dad in town even if it is for work. The kids were dying to play "shark". We all loved this game growing up. Imagine, the "shark" sprawled out intimidating on the floor ready to grab your leg, your arm or whatever bit of flesh he can and then devour you in tickles. This harsh eating practice has sometimes led to expulsion of the inner "pee", this once happened to a boy named Nathenette (the name has been changed to protect the innocent). Then on the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Wally's Chowder House to get some fish and chips. The clam chowder was the best chowder I've had. Anyhow, we were glad to find it since at first Dad couldn't exactly remember the name of the place, it has been years since he was there, let alone the address, he thought it was maybe 256th or 125th something in there (which by the way, if you don't know the address it makes a HUGE difference). But the old man hasn't totally lost it yet and we were able to find the place!

Snow, Snow, Snow

Sierra and Makayla - Go Snow - Go Utes!
Tubing and sledding with Nate - so much fun or sheer craziness with Nate as the driver!

Lexie and Ariel - darling girls and terrific teenagers!
Ang and Grandma Frye

Happy Birthday Makenzy and Madalyn!

Who said you should let your kids win?

Aunt/Grandma Kathy, Madalyn, Aunt Pat.
Thanks for being such "great" great aunts!

The get together at U-Bounce for Madalyn (8) and Makenzy's (1) birthday was a riot! This is obviously a blurry picture but Mom and Dad got right in and played. We ignored the "two sliders" at a time sign and flung our bodies down the inflatables, took sibling rivalry one level higher during our relay competitions (if I hadn't laughed, I would have won) and finished it all off with neon pink frosting on the girls cake.
Mom and Dad made reservations for dinner at the Joseph Smith Building following Nic, Ang and Walt's endowment, and Ang, Walt and Ariel's temple sealing. We were fed spiritually and literally. Though, the later one, we had to wait well beyond our reservation time, so long that they gave us some appetizers to appease us, but it was worth the wait. Dinner reservations are great, but I do hope for how good we are were doing our family time together that we have some kind of reservation in heaven, too!

One of the night's delectable options!
